I could never understand the appeal. The guy cranks out something, I'm not sure what. But it sure as hell isn't art. I like to think I don't fall into the category of "most." I expect at least, originality if not talent, class, quality or genuineness. In anything, not just art.
I love Thomas Kinkaid's art. Such lovely cottages and countrysides! :) But 400 mill?? Unbelievable! Whatever happened to the idea of the starving artist? ;)
Ok, maybe his first piece was art. Everything after was mass-produced, building on that "light in the window" theme that everyone got all ga-ga over. Of course no offense to Tish.
