Before I became a "user" I believed that computers would be the downfall of mankind. I still subscribe to that when I think of the possibilities, but moreso, I think of the friends I've made in the blogosphere and that's a big plus...
Actually I discussed this with a friend and it was brought up that there is a difference between blogging and communicating via the Internet (email, IM, etc.) I hadn't thought of that so I may have to agree with you... And then there is the definition of "true" to be considered. But I am ever the optimist and always wanting to believe in the best in people.

I'm not sure I believe there are true friends in the blogosphere.
