Perfect Perspective...

When I closed my eyes
To flicker though
My thoughts of you
Just holding you in my arms
Through the theatre of dreams
I could see the world
And my heart had never felt
So awake

I have always been quite critical of you when Chris and I discuss how you write, but this is just beautiful. It makes me think of the two of you on a stage just holding each other, in this sweet loving embrace.

Why do you dislike his writing so ? Much of it is good and the concepts are beautiful even if it is a little confusing at times. Most people, especially women, seem to think he's to die for because of his writing..

I've been a little envious at times.

I don't like the style of it. He tries to write about big things in a little way. The ideas are either very elegant or very intellectual and can't really be caught in poetry by less than the best. He's had a few that have really been amazing, but not enough to make up for all the lame ones. His writing in typical english is lovely, better than any student I ever had. He picks interesting topics, challenging to the mind and has opinions and awareness like a grandfather. But that poetry is so bland, so unstyled and unrefined. Women only like it for the efforts, for the topics, I'd say he has other qualities worth drooling over before the drool he writes. You have nothing to envy, your writings have been far better through and through.
